I know, I know, I have been idle for that past two weeks or so. I have really been that busy with work, school and the works in general.

This past week, I took a hard ass test in Anthropology, I made an 81, so I am happy with that. It was alot harder than any multiple choice test I have ever taken. The prof made a good point after the test. He said that it was ok if we did not do as well as we hoped and he knew that people studied more and were better prepared for the test than the grades indicated. He said that we lacked knowledge on what he expected from us on the test. And sure enough, that held true. It was an interesting point that I had never heard from a prof. I felt prepared for the test when I went in there, but he asked a lot of really specific questions on the test that, at the time, i felt were unfair, but now looking back on it, it is something easy to learn (such as specific languages spoken by specific tribes).

I took a quant test on Thursday and it went ok after a brief scare. It took me 30 minutes to do the first problem, but after that, it all clicked. It was an amazing revelation during the test and I was glad that I had spent time learning the material throughout the first part of class and studying (even though I will admit that I did not study a whole lot for the test). Anyways, I am anxious to get my grade back.

The Aggies won this weekend. The offense disgusted me, I was glad that I did not go to the game. (I dont care, call me a 2%-er) They BARELY (I cant put enough emphasis on that word) eeked by Baylor...yes, baylor, the bottom feeders of the big 12. This is a year after a humiliating loss to Baylor at Baylor a season ago. Bullshit. The defense plays well, the offense plays like shit...fucking fantastic...bullshit...(like I said) Franchione is overrated...

The astros made the playoffs. What a hell of a run they went through. Yes, I will be the first to criticize when they get knocked out of the playoffs, but I'll be watching the whole way through. I dont think they can even get to the World Series, much less win the whole damn thing. I think/hope they will beat the braves, but they will fall to the cardinals in 6. They just dont have the offense and for whatever reason, they cant beat the Cardinals (especially not at Busch). Go 'stros.

Tom DeLay, congratulations, you're an idiot. You're going down, hell, you were indicted in Texas. I guess its ok, you did your damage after restructuring the districts. Mission accomplished? Whatever.

Rita was a total bust (thank God? or not?) Why not, you may ask, because the next time a huge hurricane blows through the Gulf, NOBODY is going to leave because they will just htink that the media is blowing shit out of proportion and things will be much more catastrophic next time. Thats my spin on it. But truly, it was good that nothing serious happend.

Geraldo Rivera is quite possibly the biggest moron in the media...enough said...

Work has been good. I've seen some pretty good games, and I've seen some pretty bad ones. There was a funny moment when in a Co-Rec game, a girl had her shorts removed when somebody attempted to pull her flag. They were red. Hahahaha, it was humorous. I was the head ref in that game and was still laughing when I said "Second down yellow, line to gain is the" whatever line it was "open play"

The weather finally cooled off for a few days, but it quickly heated back up. It is supposed to get cooler again at the end of the week. That should be nice.

Thats it for me. I had a good weekend, but I need to clean up.
